{"id":478,"date":"2017-05-30T15:57:11","date_gmt":"2017-05-30T14:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gdpraudit.org\/?page_id=478"},"modified":"2023-11-08T10:45:21","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T10:45:21","slug":"infrastructure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/standards\/domains\/infrastructure\/","title":{"rendered":"Infrastructure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<h1>Infrastructure Domain<\/h1>\n<nav aria-label=\"breadcrumbs\" class=\"rank-math-breadcrumb\"><p><span class=\"last\">Home<\/span><\/p><\/nav>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/infrastructure_purpose.png\" alt=\"infrastructure_purpose\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"235\" width=\"418\" title=\"infrastructure_purpose\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<h2>Purpose<\/h2>\n<p>The purpose of the Infrastructure Domain to combine, enhance and develop open standards for intelligent data, which enable process and data integration for Infrastructure.\u00a0 The scope includes information exchange and process standards to support effective management of the constructed built environment and linking and integrating across BIM and GIS.\u00a0 The Infrastructure Domain leads buildingSMART efforts in a number of areas, including those for roads, bridges, tunnels, ports and waterways. rel=\"noopener\">Infrastructure Domain Roadmap<\/a> and this <a href=\"https:\/\/app.box.com\/s\/mf4n053dxyf54xpsz6rnp08shvj4jqg9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">White Paper<\/a> from the IR Roadmap Working Group.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Steering Committee<\/h2>\n<p>The steering committee is led by representatives representing the broad scope of the Infrastructure Domain.\u00a0 This includes individuals from buildingSMART members and chapters that come from consulting engineering firms, owners, and academic institutions, as well as other industry experts.\u00a0 The steering committee facilitates the project and activities of the domain, including overseeing its working groups, leading the domain sessions at buildingSMART Summits, interacting with the Standards Committee and ensuring the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/about\/bsi-process\/\">buildingSMART Process<\/a>\u00a0is followed.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
