Through the creation and dissemination of the &#8220;National BIM Plan,&#8221; the chapter focuses on fostering sustainable and structural change by developing capacities that integrate technology and applied knowledge. This effort is aimed at enhancing project management and strengthening cross-sector collaboration with a holistic approach that encompasses education, research, and professional development. Simultaneously, it encourages the incorporation of new technological practices and facilitates knowledge exchange, promoting a coordinated advancement towards digitalization that meets Ecuador&#8217;s specific needs and challenges.
