As an original founder of buildingSMART, Autodesk has a long standing relationship with buildingSMART and the addition of Autodesk to the SAC signals Autodesk\u2019s commitment to open data standards at this pivotal time in the digitisation within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.<\/p>\r\n Autodesk is a market-leading, multi-national organization delivering software and services for the AEC, manufacturing, and media and entertainment industries.<\/p>\r\n buildingSMART\u2019s Strategic Advisory Council is a group of members who meet regularly to develop and execute on the core mission and values of the buildingSMART community. This includes developing solutions and standards and digital ways of working for the built asset industry.
