buildingSMART International is delighted to be welcoming new members. These organizations bring a variety of expertise and knowledge to the growing global community. With a growing number of standards being developed, and a need for stronger industry engagement, the new members helps to ensure solutions and standards can be delivered. Below is a list of recent companies that have joined.<\/p>\r\n

Strategic Member<\/h2>\r\n

Catenda AS<\/strong> was established in 2009 as a spin-off from SINTEF Building and Infrastructure. The company\u00b4s core values are openness and quality, and it is privately held, owned in majority by its staff. Catenda makes Bimsync\u00ae, a cloud based collaboration platform. BEXEL Consulting <\/strong>is a modern, high-tech, construction and engineering consultancy company.\u00a0 BEXEL aids in overcoming the most complex design and construction related issues using a fine-tuned synergy of innovation, technology and drive with knowledge, experience and expertise. Data Design System<\/strong> (DD) has been developing innovative software since 1984. Their Open BIM product family DDS-CAD provides ideal tools for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) experts who plan and design building services projects. DDS will join as a Multinational member in January 2020. Vectorworks is the first architectural software developer to earn the major milestone of IFC4 Export Certification \u2014 a distinction that reinforces our drive to put collaboration at the heart of sharing information across software systems.
