{"id":11244,"date":"2017-11-08T20:51:44","date_gmt":"2017-11-08T20:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/?p=11244"},"modified":"2023-05-24T15:06:10","modified_gmt":"2023-05-24T14:06:10","slug":"open-standards-regulation-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/open-standards-regulation-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Regulatory bodies supported by open digital standards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/regulation-1-1-1024x745-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"745\" \/><\/p>\n<p>buildingSMART International has published a Technical Report that reviews the currently available and proposed exchange formats for supporting interoperability between Regulatory, Requirements and Recommendatory (RRR) content.<\/p>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThis report aims to:<br \/>\n\u2022 present a case for investigating such issues<br \/>\n\u2022 identify solutions<br \/>\n\u2022 propose recommendations that will be implemented by the buildingSMART community by the research community and by regulatory bodies.\nIn response to clients needs and the many other factors which influence the design and<br \/>\nprocurement of a building, the construction sector analyses RRR and then delegates them<br \/>\ndownwards in an iterative and cyclic process.
